1

Which Truck brand is the most fuel efficient?

Most of them are very close on fuel efficiency, so this is likely to be a significant deciding factor. The 2017 Ford F-150 gets 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. The GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 get almost the same mileage with 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Dodge Ram 1500 is also about the same with 17 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. The Nissan Titan isn't quite as efficient with 15 mpg in the city and 21 on the highway. The Toyota Tundra gets the worst mileage with 13 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Keep in mind that these numbers will vary, depending on the model. For example, if you go with the Ford F-150 Raptor, the mileage drops to 15/18.

What trucks have the most up-to-date technology?

Ford wins this category with Driver-assist Technology in the F-150. Pro Trailer Backup Assist, a Blind Spot Information System, a Lane-Keeping System, the Curve Control/AdvanceTrac/RSC and Active park assist are a handful of the high-tech goodies included. Chevrolet comes in at a close second with a long list of great options that come standard or are available in the Silverado. GMC also has some nice technology available with the Enhanced Driver Alert package, but it's just not quite as good. Toyota equips the 2017 Tundra with some nice technology, like the standard rearview camera and push-button start. You can get other features like blind spot monitoring as well as front and rear parking sensors, but you have to pay extra. Nissan Titan has park assist, rearview camera, 360-degree surround-view camera, front/rear parking sensors, ear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring as available add-on options. Dodge comes in last in this category because they don't offer any driver-assist systems standard in the Ram 1500. You can get front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera and rear park assist added on, though.

Which brand equips their trucks with the latest infotainment technology?

All of the truck manufacturers have done a good job of keeping up with today's infotainment technology. They each have their own slightly different twist on what they have to offer. Most offer Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, USB ports, power outlets and touchscreens. GMC, Ford, and Chevrolet all offer Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SYNC infotainment systems. In this category, though, Chevrolet wins it with their easier-to-use smartphone integration system. Dodge comes in second with their Uconnect system, and Ford comes in third. GMC is about the same as Ford. Nissan offers NissanConnect infotainment, which is good but not quite better than GMC. Toyota puts a good standard Entune infotainment system in the Tundra, but it simply isn't as good as the others.
