How many 2018 Ridgeline models are there?

Honda is offering the 2018 Ridgeline in six different models or trim levels. The Ridgeline RT, Ridgeline Sport, Ridgeline RTL, Ridgeline RTL-T, Ridgeline RTL-E and Ridgeline Black Edition. The Ridgeline RTS model is no longer available. The RTS was the second lowest trim level in previous years. All of the models are available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive except the Ridgeline RT, which is only available in FWD.

Honda added two new paint color options for the 2018 Ridgeline Sport model. You can get a 2018 Sport in the new Lunar Silver Metallic or White Diamond Pearl and the old Crystal Black Pearl.

What hi-tech safety features are standard in the 2018 Ridgeline?

Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Assist and a Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Guidelines come standard on all 2018 Ridgeline models. The Ridgeline RTL-T comes with Honda LaneWatch, too.

A Collision Mitigation Braking system, Road Departure Mitigation System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, a Blind Spot Information system with Cross Traffic Monitor and Adaptive Cruise Control are all standard safety features in the Ridgeline RTL-E and Black Edition.

Does the 2018 Ridgeline have any good infotainment features?

Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and Streaming Audio, a MP3/Auxiliary Input Jack, a Radio Data system, Speed-Sensitive Volume Control and a USB Audio Interface are all standard infotainment features in all 2018 Ridgeline models.

The RTL-T has a 225-Watt Audio System that includes seven speakers and a subwoofer. The RTL-T, RTL-E and Black Edition also come standard with an 8" high-resolution audio display touch-screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Audio, HondaLink, SiriusXM Radio, HD Radio, SMS Text Message capabilities, Pandora Compatibility, the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with Voice Recognition and HD Digital Traffic, a USB Smartphone/Audio Interface, and two USB charging ports.

The RTL-E and Black Edition models also come with a 540-Watt Premium Audio System with eight speakers and a subwoofer as well as a truck-bed audio system.

Is the new Ridgeline expensive?

The 2018 Ridgeline is more expensive than the competition by around $5,000 to $10,000. MSRP for the new Ridgeline ranges from $29,630 for the RT model to $43,120 for the Black Edition. Those are starting prices.

The 2018 Ridgeline hasn't been tested yet; however, the 2017 Ridgeline is an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+.
