The lowest trim level, the 4x2 Tradesman, starts out at $27,095. That's about a $600 increase. If you opt for the 4x4 Tradesman, the base MSRP jumps to $31,695. The Ram 1500 Night, which is the highest trim level, starts out at $39,385 for the 4x4 model. The 2018 Laramie Longhorn Ram Special Edition has a base MSRP of $50,095. The 2018 Rebel, Ram's hardcore off-road Special Edition, starts out at $45,295. If you want those leather seats in your new Rebel, you'll have to spend another $1,545.
What engine does the new Ram come with?
The lower trim levels come standard with a 3.6-L V6 24-Valve VVT, 305-hp engine. You can get a 5.7-L V8 HEMI MDS VVT engine, though, for an additional $1,450. The higher trim levels, like the Ram 1500 Sport, get the 5.7-L V8 HEMI MDS VVT, 395-hp engine.
Does the 2018 Ram come with any good hi-tech safety features?
Hi-tech safety features are not one of the 2018 Ram's strongest qualities. The 1500's do come with Electronic Stability Control. A ParkView Rear Backup Camera is standard equipment in the 2018's, too. They were only available as an add-on in the 2017 Rams. Remote Keyless Entry with All-Secure, a Remote Start System, Security Alarm, Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System, Speed Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring Display and Supplemental Side-curtain Airbags are standard in the 2018 Ram as well.
What sort of gas mileage does the 2018 Ram 1500 get?
The figures have not been published yet for the 2018 Ram 1500. It shouldn't be much different from the 2017 Ram 1500, which gets 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

The Quad Cab only comes with the shorter 6' 4" box. The crew cab is available with an even shorter box that measures only 5' 7" or the 6' 4" box. The crew cab has 40.3" of leg room in the rear. The Quad Cab has only 34.7" of leg room in the rear.
