They aren't going to make the V-Rods in 2018, but it's not too late to get a 2017 model if you want a motorcycle with a bit more power. Harley-Davidson is introducing 17 new models for 2018.
The Harley-Davidson Breakout has a nice, big rider triangle for tall riders. That's the triangle between the seat, handlebars and foot pegs. The Breakout cruiser has a 119-degree knee-bend angle, which is ideal for most tall riders. The 2018 Breakout has a base price of about $19,000. It comes with a Milwaukee-eight 107 or 114 engine that produces 109 ft-lb of torque, and the seat sits 25.6" off the ground with a rider in place.
The Harley-Davidson Road King is another excellent option for tall riders. It also starts out at about $19,000 for a 2018 model. It sits a little higher off the ground at 26.3". The Road King comes with a Milwaukee-eight 107 that produces 111 ft-lb of torque.
Does Indian make motorcycles for tall people?
Yes, Indian has lots of options that are perfect for tall riders. If you like the classic look, you could get the Indian Chief Classic. Its seat is at about the same height as the Harley-Davidsons at 26" off the ground. The engine in the Chief Classic is a Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin that produces 119 ft-lbs of torque at 3000 RPM. You can get a 2018 model for around $19,500.

Honda's NC700X and CB500X are very good options for tall riders. The NC700X is powered by Honda's 670cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. The seat is a little lower than the Kawasaki at 32.7" off the ground. MSRP for the 2017 NC700X is $7,699. The CB500X comes with a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine and sits a little lower at 31.8". MSRP for the 2017 CB500X is $6,599. The 2018's aren't out yet.
Yamaha's contribution to motorcycles for tall riders includes the FZ-09 and FJ-09. The FZ-09 is a great sports bike for taller people. It's powered by an 847cc liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder, DOHC engine. The seat is 32.3" off the ground. The 2018s aren't out yet, but you can get a 2017 model for $8,999. The FJ-09 is a great sports tourer type motorcycle for tall riders. It has the same engine as the FZ09, but the seat is a little higher at 33.3-33.9" off the ground. You can get a 2017 FJ-09 for $10,699.
What high-end options are there for tall motorcycle riders?
If you are a tall rider looking for something more high-end than Harley-Davidson and Indian, or maybe differently high-end would be more accurate, BMW Motorrad and Ducati may have exactly what you want.
The BMW R 1200 GS adventure bike is well-sized for taller riders. The 2018 models have a starting MSRP of $18,895. It has a 4-stroke, 2-cylinder engine and the seat is 35-35.8" off the ground. The BMW R 1200 GS comes with optional seat heights, too, that range from 31.1-35".
The Ducati 1200 comes equipped with a Testastretta L-twin DVT engine that adjusts its power output, depending on the driver's choice and road conditions.
