Highlights From the 2019 Chicago Auto Show

This year’s Chicago Auto Show was the perfect reflection of what auto culture is all about; it provided a great platform for manufacturers to showcase their best cars. We spotted numerous concept and dream vehicles that had our jaws dropping to the floor. In total, there were nearly 1,000 trucks, cars, and SUVs. This show is bigger than WWE’s Andre the Giant; it is Chicago’s biggest national auto show, and therefore it is not surprising that the manufacturers expressed their excitement about a rise in attendance in the face of a slowing market. This increase in popularity has been confirmed by dealers who have reported an increase in customers after the hugely successful show. There were plenty of goodies to offer including 20 brand-new introductions, test drive opportunities, and numerous interactive exhibits.

Apart from hosting various North American and worldwide car debutants, the show is also meant to raise charity for several key Chicago organizations; the organizers revealed that they raised more than $2.5 million in a single night. This year’s show will go down as the 111th edition. Next year’s public show will be held Feb. 8-17.

It was one of the show-stoppers in the recent Chicago Auto Show; the attendees were left in awe, confirming that auto culture can also be a source of entertainment.
