Top Infiniti Models

September 25, 2017

Infiniti has a long history of producing quality luxury vehicles. From their sporty little coupe to the full-sized luxury SUV, Infiniti does not disappoint in 2017. In most categories, there isn’t really a top model. They are all equally good. When it comes to sedans, though, there is one that truly is their top model for 2017.

Which is the top 2017 Infiniti Crossover?

There are no real standouts in Infinity’s 2017 crossovers. The top model for you is going to come down to personal preference and needs.

The Infiniti QX30 is a snappy little luxury CUV with a very reasonable base price of $29,950. There are five models available. The most expensive model starts out at $38,500. All five models come with a 2.0-L, 4-cylinder, 208-hp engine. The front-wheel-drive models get 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel-drive models get 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. As you would expect, they all come with an excellent infotainment system. The QX30 seats five and has 34 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seats folded flat.

The QX50 is slightly larger and available in a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive model. Base price for the rear-wheel-drive QX50 is $34,650, and the AWD model starts at $36,450. Both have a 3.7-L V6 that gets 325 hp. Both models seat five people and have 18.6 cubic feet of cargo space. They also come standard with goodies like heated front seats, dual-zone automatic temperature control, a rearview monitor, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and a Bluetooth hands-free phone system. Both models get 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

The Infiniti QX60 is available in four models, two of which are hybrids. You can get the QX60 in AWD or front-wheel drive. This is a larger CUV that seats seven with three rows of seats and has 15.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row of seats. The non-hybrid models come with a 295-hp, 3.5-L V6 that gets 19 to 20 mpg in the city and 26 to 27 mpg on the highway. The hybrids come with a 2.5-L, 4-cylinder, 250-hp engine that gets 25 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. Starting prices for the QX60 range from $43,100 to $53,500.

The QX70 is a five-passenger CUV that is available in rear-wheel drive or AWD. It has 24.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats in the upright position. You get 62 cubic feet if you fold the rear seats down, though. The rear-wheel-drive model has a base price of $45,850. The AWD model starts out at $47,650. Both models come with a 325-hp, 3.7-L V6 engine. The rear-wheel-drive model gets 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway while the AWD model gets 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.

Does Infiniti have a full-sized SUV?

Yes, the QX80 is Infiniti’s full-sized, very luxurious SUV. It comes standard with room for seven and three rows of seats, although there is an eight-passenger option. There are five models available, with prices that range from $63,850 for the low-end model to $89,450 for the QX80 Limited. They all have a 400-hp, 5.6-L V8 engine and gets 13 to 14 mpg in the city and 19 to 20 mpg on the highway. The QX80 has 16.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats in the upright position. If you fold down the third row of seats, you get 49.6 cubic feet of space. With both the second and third row of seats folded down, you get 95.1 cubic feet of space. The QX80 can also tow up to 8,500 pounds.

Which is the top 2017 Infiniti Sedan?

The Q50 is the top Infiniti sedan for 2017. It’s starting price is between $34,945 and $50,795, depending on which model you choose. They come with either a 2.0-L turbo inline-four or 3.0-L twin-turbo, 6-cylinder engine. The hybrid Q50 comes with a 3.0-L V6 gas/electric engine. There are six different models available, and they all come in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel drive. Even the lowest-priced model comes with heated, power-adjusting front seats and a folding 60/40 split-rear seat for a little more cargo space. Its infotainment system includes Bluetooth with USB integration, six speakers, HD/Satellite radio standard. You can upgrade to a premium 16-speaker Bose audio system if you like. It gets good gas mileage with 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

The Q70 is a bigger, more expensive sedan with a base price of $50,100 to $65,700, but bigger and more expensive do not translate to better in this case. One of the main drawbacks with this Infinity model is that all of the high-tech traction and stability control safety features can be turned off.
