The 2018 Jaguar XE and the 2018 Jaguar XF
Hello mate!….That’s just sweet old me trying to speak in a British accent because of the excitement that comes with Jaguar’s newest babies. The Jaguar is very British and by now many of you already know that it kicks its competitors just like David Beckham kicks a ball. The Jaguar XE and XF are different in size, but they bring a great blend of performance, outstanding power, and mouth-watering luxury. The XF features some major improvements while the XE is new and ready to roll.
The midsize luxury sedan offers consumers with another great choice in the luxury department. Of course, it still has to face stiff competition from the well-established German cars. The XF performs favorably against the reliable Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Cadillac CTS, the aggressive BMW 5 Series and the impeccable Audi A6.
The XF has a great handling, plush cabin, outstanding steering as well as a spacious trunk and back seat. It has a wide aluminum construction that allows it to be very responsive to driver commands. It’s also fuel-efficient and light. The XF comes with a classic Jaguar face, pace, and grace; it’s definitely a worthy luxury car so get it quick, fast and in a hurry!
The Jaguar comes with some standard safety features that include: side curtain and front-seat side airbags, traction and stability control as well as automatic hazard lights which are triggered by heavy braking. Higher trim levels have more features like blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning.
Everything about the Jaguar XE is new, and hence it offers sports sedan enthusiasts with a fresh driving experience thanks to its great features. The standard features include six-speaker audio that can be upgraded to 17 speakers, moonroof, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch infotainment system which can be upgraded to 10.2 inches, HD radio and Bluetooth.
Powertrains have an eight-speed automatic. They include a supercharged V-6 engine that produces 340 horsepower, a turbo four option that gives 240-hp and a turbo-diesel that provides 180-hp. It has an optional all-wheel drive and a standard Rear-drive. This great variety of compelling engines is what every driver dreams of.
The Jaguar XF offers a number of features that include: automatic emergency brake assist, 11-speaker audio, driver assistance features, Bluetooth, a good infotainment system, quad-zone climate control and an HD radio. The XF has been upgraded from the 2016 version, and it is cheaper than last year’s model because it has fewer features. However, it still has enough features to compete in its class.
Although the 2017 Jaguar XF is quite similar to the 2016 version, it has boosted its V6 engines with a fresh diesel four-cylinder option. The options include an optional supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 that produces 340- or 380-hp, 2.0-liter four diesel engine that produces 180-hp and a base turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 247-hp.
This car makes up for what it lacks in space and interior quality by offering one of the best if not the best ride you will ever enjoy. The driving experience is fun, very engaging and even makes an ordinary driver look like Lewis Hamilton because it has looks and swag for days.
The steering allows you to feel every movement the car makes, delivering outstanding feedback and consistent weighting. The XE’s steering is simply out of this world. The manufacturers have used superior artistry to ensure that the driver feels the road via the seat of the pants and the steering wheel.
The Jaguar also sticks to the road like paper and glue; maintaining control around sharp corners and soaking up bumps.
The Jaguar XF comes with some safety features like Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, adaptive cruise control, Autonomous Emergency Brakes, Parking Assist, side curtain airbags, traction and stability control, rear cross-traffic alert, front side airbags among others.
This car is ideal for any working class fella with several kids and a collection of Adele and Ed Sheeran albums.
