The Outback comes with a 256-hp six-cylinder engine under the hood, an excellent sound system, leather upholstered and heated front and back seats, a moonroof and some active-assist safety features. The Outback also has 73 cubic feet of cargo space, has higher ground clearance and gets about the same mileage as the V90. If you can afford the V90, it is worth it for the more luxurious interior and extra features. If you are on a tighter budget, the Outback may be the better option.
The most comparable station wagon is the Audi Allroad. The Allroad has 58.5 cubic feet of cargo space, a 252-hp, four-cylinder turbocharged engine and gets about the same gas mileage, but it isn't quite as luxurious inside as the V90.
